       Hey Mom!  Thinking about you. ;-)  Bradford's facebook page reminded me today that the Bake Sale is coming up this weekend at the Fair.  Wish I was there to help you make some puppy chow.  I'm sure you will be making some wonderful goodies!  Will be praying for you as you tackle this project once again.  How many years have you been helping?!  LOTS ... I'm sure.

The other day in the office, we came across this fundraising idea. ;-)  Maybe something to consider for next year!  Haha

"Bakeless" Bake Sale

You are invited to NOT bake a cake, pie, cookies, or brownies. 

You do NOT have to find the recipe. 

You do NOT have to shop for ingredients. 

You do NOT have to mix, cut, or wrap. 

You do NOT have to cook, wash dishes or clean your kitchen. 

You do NOT have to deliver the baked product -or- 

stand in the weather {heat/wind} to sell it! 

You CAN simply write a check to Bradford Christian School 

and spend that time with your family or friends!

We’ve thought of a plan that’s really grand

And feel quite sure you will understand

Many is the time I heard you say

I would rather give a “Dollar” than bake today

And so we are asking you to help, more or less

To make our Bakeless Bake Sale a big success

Without fuss or bother, you’ve done your part

We hope you will give with a willing heart

Too funny!  This is usually followed by a list of bake sale items and suggested donation amounts for each.  So ... in honor of the "Bakeless" Bake Sale ... I would like to NOT bake a pie and instead send a donation.  Will drop it in the mail tomorrow!  ;-)
