I had a wonderful day in Montgomery with the We Care "family". The weather and scenery were beautiful! Here are some pictures to give you a glimpse into the fun!
Almost all of the trees were covered in Spanish moss. It was so neat! Created a very pretty and serene setting for our day. You don't see much around here so I couldn't help but take lots of pictures!
Another picture of the moss. ;-) This was taken in the brief moment before the kids descended upon the playground. They had a blast ... and were definitely NOT ready to go home when 3:00 rolled around!
Ok ... enough of the moss! ;-)
The game of "Cornhole" is a must at all We Care gatherings!
One of the kids games that we played was "Pop {soda} Bottle Bowling"
It was a hit! Will have to remember that idea for the future.
Aren't they cute! This is only about a 1/3 of the kiddos ;-)
Don't miss the little guy on the far right ... little Jacob is my little buddy!
Had to get a picture of these guys {girls} all wearing their Read-a-thon t-shirt from this year. It says ... Eat. Sleep. Read.
And as always ... miss Lizzy finds her way onto my camera!
Too bad I couldn't get a smile.
Gary Mast (Economy Shop Director) and his daughter Emma Claire strategizing for the 3-legged race! Looks more like 2 legs to me! ;-)
Mr. Sean is a ham! If he sees a camera he knows its time to pose and then... immediately insists on seeing the picture. Such a cutie!

Oh dear ... looks like I missed my deadline! It's already tomorrow. Let's just say that since I started the post yesterday and have not yet gone to bed for the night that I'm still on track. ;-)
Mom and Dad, it was really great talking to you tonight. 97 minutes might be a record! Love you guys and will post more tomorrow/today. ;-)
