Well ... the biggest news in our lives right now is that we said goodbye to my "old faithful" 2000 Camry and I got an incredible upgrade ;-) ... a 2009 Honda Accord. My car was still going strong and I was really looking forward to the "200,000 mile" blog post ;-) ... but we only made it to 198,082 miles! A family member in California wanted to provide a vehicle for another family member down in Florida. So ... In that vehicle exchange I was blessed with the Honda and my faithful Camry is headed down to Florida. Praying that it will be a blessing to the next owner. ;-) To get ready for the exchange we took my car in for a tune-up and replace the broken passenger door handle and gas tank door. By the time we were finished, it was kinda hard to say "good bye"... it felt strange to be getting rid of a vehicle that still ran so well! But ...
...the Honda is SO nice! I feel very blessed. ;-) and am having a blast driving such a sporty car! I didn't realize a vehicle could drive so smoothly. It's a V6 so I have to be careful not to speed! Next trip to Oklahoma will be much more fuel efficient. ;-)
I just saw that my last post was about being sick! Thankfully Chris never really got sick and I made a complete recovery. ;-) My cough stuck around awhile but is completely gone now. PTL
How are things going at home? Unfortunately, I never found your e-mail responses to our blog posts! I did a test and discovered that the reply email address comes up as "The Neighbors" but the address is "noreply@blogger.com" ... so I guess you will just have to enter my email address the old fashioned way.
