7 months!

Is it really possible that my baby girl is 7 month's old?!!  It's hard to believe, but its TRUE!
We took family Christmas pictures last Saturday and here is a sneak peak. ;-)  We didn't get very many smiles out of our ornery girl but did get some sweet pictures like this!

Keira's Current Favorites:

        Bath Time!  (aka "Splashy Splash" Time) ... and my Rubber Duckie bath toy

        Play Time in my High Chair.  Especially when Mommy gives me something new 

                 to explore ... like a Skein of Yarn, Paper Plate or a Measuring Cup.

        Pears are my favorite food.  Although I'd really rather have a bite of whatever 

                 Mommy is eating!  She has to wait till I'm done eating to eat her breakfast or 

                 I will refuse mine!

        Daddy.  I like to look for him when I get up from my naps.  If I find him I smile and 

                 wiggle all over! ;-)

        Mommy.  I'd still rather be in Mommy's arms.  But I'm learning that other people 

                 can take care of me too ... sometimes!

        Other random fun facts: I'm already wearing 9-12 mo size clothes!  Mommy is 

                 having trouble keeping up with my wardrobe. ;-)  I'm sleeping better at night in 

                 my big girl bed and usually take two long naps every day!! (Yahoo!)  

                 I have 1 tooth and will soon have 2!!  I chew on EVERYTHING!

       Tonight I was making some baked oatmeal and realized that a little someone was watching my every move from her high chair. ;-)  My mind suddenly fast forwarded to what it will be like to have my big girl be my helper!  Grateful for God's blessing of a daughter who will become my right hand helper someday, I'm sure.  Can't wait till she can actually "help" me in the kitchen!  I had to treat her to a little messy play time with the mixing bowl when I was done. ;-)

Bath time is the most wonderful time of the day!  As soon as Mommy says it's "Splashy Splash" time ... I start to wiggle and smile!  Because I know what is coming!

I prefer to lay down in the water so I can kick my legs in the water and play with my toys with my hands & my feet! ;-)

This is my new favorite way to smile! ;-) ... mouth wide open.  Cheese!
