Weekend Fun!

Zeke is One!! ;-)  This little guy turned 1 and we (Keira & I) went to his birthday party on Saturday afternoon.  He is two months older than Keira and
it is fun to see them interact.  This lovely family just started coming to our church since Zeke was born.
I am enjoying getting to know Joetta through church and MOPS.

Keira was the only girl at the party!  She had a blast playing with the balloons, watching the big kids & experience the joys of an Exersaucer {right}.  She jabbered all the way home (30 minutes) and was VERY ready for a nap when we got home!!

then ...

We enjoyed a cookout with friends on Saturday evening.  Tristan & Julie (left below) invited us over and grilled some delicious chicken kabobs.  Keira had a blast and as you can see was quite intrigued by the fire.  It was a perfect night to enjoy the outdoors around the firepit.  So thankful for our friends!  We don't do this kind of thing often enough.  David & Amber's little guy Patrick tried to "teach" Keira how to eat grass!  Yikes!  Thankfully she wasn't as interested as he was. ;-)  So grateful for a very happy, content little girl who is such a JOY to do things with!!  Can't wait to get to Oklahoma!

Then on Sunday we enjoyed more relaxing day with church in the morning and an evening at home!
