NEWS! We had a baby at our house for the first time today!! ;-) Don't get too excited! He was an invited guest with his parents. Tehe We had Blaine & Sheila and their "little" guy Eli over for lunch after church. The four of us have been given the task of planning the decorations for an upcoming banquet for We Care that will be held at MCF ... so we had a planning meeting after lunch. Here is a fairly recent picture of their beautiful family.
Mr. Eli has grown quite a bit since this picture was taken so I had to include another picture so you could see his adorable chubby cheeks!! ;-) He is an absolute sweet heart! He rewarded my goofy antics with some heart melting giggling! So much fun! ;-)
This picture was taken at Blaine's sisters wedding ... hence the occasion for a bow tie! He also sported a brown hat to match but I couldn't find a picture of it. He wore it to church last Sunday!
After a WONDERFUL Sunday afternoon nap, we headed back to church for the evening service. We had communion and I was so very blessed again by the church family that we are a part of. So much love and encouragement can be felt each time we are together.
The day was not over yet! We went to Arby's for supper after church with friends and then back to our house to watch a movie. So ... that is my excuse for not getting something posted on time!! Oops ... oh well!
Can't wait to hear how your evening went. I'm sure the food was delicious and the company even better! Wish I could have been there. Love you all very much!!
