"Smart" phone

Hey guys!  Hope you are having a fabulous week. ;-)  I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday!  I just got home from a Women's night at church.  We were knotting denim quilts that will be sent to MCC.  Something that I have never done before ... I really enjoyed the learning experience and fellowship.  Not sure if I mentioned or not, but a couple of months ago, I was voted in as the VP of the WMSC {not 100% sure what that stands for!!}  Basically the women's group at church. ;-)  We meet about once a month to do either a service project or fun outing.

I did it!  Today I officially upgraded to a "Smart" phone.  My old, faithful phone was giving up the ghost.  Meaning the touch screen was slowly going out so I decided it was time for a change.  Chris talked me into getting a smart phone.  I looked at the basic phones but it seems that as most phones get "smarter" ... the basic phones get "dumber"!

As you can see in the picture, my new LG Spectrum is quite a bit larger than my old phone.  In fact, my old phone is the same size as the screen on my new one. Crazy!  It's going to take some getting used to ..., but I think I'm gonna love it!  It can do so much that it feels like a small computer not a phone!!  When you e-mail me now, I will be notified and can read it on my phone.

Gettin excited about Christmas plans ... looks like our dates will be something like Dec. 27th though Jan. 1st  Can't wait!!  Saw that you guys had a cold front move through today ... we are expecting it to cool off here over the weekend with lows around 40ish!  Quite a change from the high today of 83!  On Saturday, We Care has a promo booth at an event in town called "Williams Station Day".  A typical small town fall festival/craft show.  I will be working in the afternoon and looks like I will need to wear my coat!

Well, I'm off to crash on the couch and play with my new toy! ;-)

Love,  Hannah
