Let's just say that Breeze is no longer a puppy and has been in trouble every day this week so far!! What a mess! Here are some pictures of her latest "handiwork" ...Remember the back flowerbeds that looked so nice and were ready for flowers this spring?! The carefully laid weed barrier has been thoroughly removed and is shredded in the yard! Looks like I will be focusing on the front yard this year!
Last week, I came home from work to find that Breeze had excavated my planter ...
This morning I woke up to some strange sounds outside and went out and found her in the planter AGAIN burrowed down under the board I had put over it!! Only her head was sticking out! Crazy dog ... needless to say she was asked to vacate the planter immediately! She's not all bad though. ;-) We are really enjoying her ... despite her many bad habits! {She also chews through coax cable, door mats & any bedding in sight} It's fun to come home to a playful puppy who is always ready to play fetch!
Caption: On the way home from the vet! Getting spayed wasn't much fun ... but I'm lovin the car ride. ;-)

Let's see ... what else has been going on in our lives? This week has been nice and relaxed ... Chris is feeling better after a head cold/flu last week and it's been wonderful to have my "ornery" guy back! One of my favorite things right now is to just hang out at home in the evening after work with my best friend. We have so much fun together. ;-) Even if he beats me every time we play Settlers!!
A couple of weekends ago we were blessed with the chance to attend Weekend to Remember in Destin, FL. Weekend to Remember in a marriage conference hosted by Family Life Ministries. We Care sponsored all of the married couples on staff to be able to attend. What a challenging and encouraging weekend!! Chris and I weren't quite sure what to expect since this was the first time we had ever participated in such an event. The weekend consisted of 3 excellent speakers, 250+ couples, 10 sessions, 3 couple projects & a date night! It was also a weekend of firsts for this girl ;-) ... 1st time to stay in a hotel room with a balcony and beautiful view of the beach and the 1st time to order room service for breakfast! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Weekend to Remember to ANY married couple! It is an excellent investment into the most important relationship in your life!
Here are the only two pictures I took that weekend!
We really need to get better at taking pictures of ourselves!!
It was a rainy weekend so the picture doesn't do God's creation justice.
The sun finally came out on Sunday afternoon so we were able to enjoy a walk on the beach before heading home. ;-)
Enough for now! Will try to post more soon. ;-)
Love you guys, Hannah & Chris
