A Rainy ... not so Lazy Weekend

Hey guys!! Guess what ;-) ... I'm packing my bags & wedding supply kits!  So excited to be finally heading that way early Tuesday morning.   Just wanted to post a few pictures from our past week/weekend.  Chris had off Friday and Saturday for the 4th of July holiday and it was WONDERFUL having him home!!  We had quite a lengthy "To Do" list and were able to finish most of it. ;-)

We had Chris's family over for a simple 4th of July celebration on Thursday.  It threatened to storm all day but we were able to get the hamburgers grilled and enjoyed a few games of cornhole before it started raining.  Jordan and Daniel kept Uncle Chris and Auntie Hannah on their toes!!  They are a mess. ;-)  Here are some fun pictures of our time together.

On Friday, I had to work so Chris tackled his part of the "To Do" list. ;-)  Which included renewing his driver's license which has been expired since May 25th!! {Supposedly you have 60 days to get it renewed ... but I'm grateful he didn't get pulled over in the mean time!}

He was also able to pick up something exciting ... a utility trailer which will be a tremendous blessing!!  Breeze chewed the wiring out of the last trailer that we borrowed so we are grateful to not have to keep borrowing ... although our friends have been very generous.

Chris and I FINALLY got our new range hood installed on Saturday!  Poor guy had quite a time with this project. ... 1 1/2 months   ... 1 flat tire                                  ... 2 hardware store visits {no luck}
                           ... 1 Amazon.com order
                           ... 1 borrowed reciprocating saw
                           ... some duct tape ... and
                           ... 2 attic "adventures" later = Success!!
Proud of my guy for sticking with it and completing the project for me. ;-)

Here's a fun little project that I worked on. ;-)  While shopping on Saturday, I found this dress on sale at Walmart ... it looked cute enough that I decided to try it on but, as usual, I was very disappointed with how it looked.  However, I saw some potential and decided to go ahead and buy it.  So glad I did ... because all it took was a pair of scissors to turn this dress into a very comfortable maxi skirt.  Love it!!

Goodness!  It's bedtime ;-)  See you guys very soon! - Love, Hannah

Oh ... I almost forgot!  This is how Breeze spent her rainy day ;-)  So cute when she's asleep!!
