The day finally came and we had to say "Farewell" to Rich & Marj! They should be home in Virginia by now. It was sad to see them go but ... Chris and I will get to see them again this weekend ;-) We are headed to Baltimore, MD early Thursday morning for Ryan & Rita's wedding and are planning to stop in at Rich & Marj's house on our way back home on Sunday to pick up a trailer that they borrowed from someone in Atmore. It will be fun to see where they live!
This past Saturday, MCF hosted an Ice Cream Social as a farewell party for the Heatwole's. I enjoyed planning the event and the evening was a lot of fun! ;-) We had a photo booth set up and created some funny photo memories for them to remember us by!! I am working on creating a guestbook/memory book to give them with pictures and encouraging notes and memories that were collected that evening.
Well, I think it's time for an early bedtime tonight! We are planning to leave around 3 am on Thursday morning and I'm already feeling tired ... better get LOTS of sleep tonight. ;-)
