On Friday, Chris and I both had off work so we decided to tackle a couple out outdoor projects. The biggest of which was pressure washing the driveway! Because we have a truck now, we were able to borrow We Care's pressure washer and put it to good use! We cleaned off the driveway and sidewalks as well as some of the brick on the house. It looks 100% better! I had no idea our house was that color!! Haha ;-) Just kidding ... the brick does look a lot better, but the driveway was the most dramatic!
On Saturday morning Chris played in the 7th annual K.C. Monroe Golf Tournament that is held each year in April as a fundraiser for Atmore Christian School. Ryan & Randy Classen and Stephen Yoder made up the rest of his 4 man team. With the exception of Stephen, the rest of the guys only play golf once a year so you can imagine that they had a fun time!! ;-)

I was asked to be in charge of serving lunch to the guys after the tournament so I just hung out at the club house while they golfed! It was a beautiful day and we were grateful that the forecasted thunderstorms held off until the afternoon. All-in-all I think it ended up being a very successful fundraiser for the school.
Well, my lunch break is over so I'd better get back to work!
