I had a wonderful time at home in Oklahoma last weekend. ;-) I'm SO glad that I could be there to celebrate with Kerry at her bridal shower. I didn't take any pictures but Aunt Terri did so you can click below to see more pictures on her facebook page.
Chris comes home tomorrow!!!!!!! I haven't seen my hubby since Memorial Day so I am VERY ready for him to get home! ;-) It has been a long two weeks without him here. They are working on a job at a new casino up near Montgomery. Chris says it's been really chaotic and no one seems to know what to do?!!! But ... whatever it is ... they are supposed to have it done by Friday! One day earlier this week he was told to install a particular system only to be told later in the day that it was a mistake and to take it all down! He was one frustrated guy to say the least!!
In case you were wondering where the baby came from?! This is how I spent my Wednesday morning. ;-) Ben and Marla Zook were visiting We Care and this is their 3 month old daughter Amanda. I got to hold the baby while they packed up and got ready to head home to PA. The Zook's are in the process of joining our chaplaincy staff and were checking things out over the weekend. I missed most of their visit but was so glad that I got to connect with them at least a little bit before they left. (Ben was at Rosedale with Chris and I) It will be wonderful to have them living in the Atmore area soon!! Especially with a little one as sweet as this!
On a funny note ;-) ... I text this picture to Chris with the caption "This is what my morning has consisted of so far!!" ... He text back and said "That better not be our kid now!" Crazy guy ;-) I know we haven't seen each other in awhile ... but REALLY!
