A flashforward ... (also called a prolepsis) is an interjected scene that takes the narrative forward in time from the current point of the story in literature, film, television and other media.
I write so many blog posts in my head but unfortunately a lot of them don't make it here. ;-( Then I get overwhelmed, feeling like I need to catch up! But Kerry told me I should just post SOMETHING! So ... bear with me as I flashforward to today!
I love decorating our home for fall! This burlap wreath I made {thank you Pinterest} is one of my favorite decorations this year. ;-)
The dusty peanut harvest is over ... and ... the cotton harvest is in full swing!
The cotton fields have been so beautiful lately. I love the stage just before harvest where the foliage dies and only the bright white cotton remains on plants. We call it Alabama "snow"!
October 26th was the Peacock Family reunion {descendents of Harry Peacock who would have been Chris's mom's great grandfather} It was hosted by Ann (Peacock) Gordon at "The Club" where we had our wedding reception. Here is a picture of our clan by the peacock christmas tree! ;-)
I got to meet A LOT of new extended family and somehow got roped into manning the registration table! Not sure I was the best person for that since I didn't know ANYONE other than "our clan" ... but it went okay! True to southern hospitality there was way too much food ... We were all supposed to bring two dishes but I think just the food that Chris's mom made alone could have fed everyone!! Still eating leftover roast!?!
I packed my Aunt Hannah bag and had fun entertaining Daniel Lee and Jordan for most of the day. ;-) We learned how to play Uno and colored lots of pictures!!
All right! That brings us up to today ;-) Okay Matt ... it's YOUR turn!
Love, Hannah

I'm in love with that wreath!
ReplyDeleteThanks :-) Me too!! It was so easy to make ... you should try it!
DeleteDid you pin it?
ReplyDeleteYes, and I just went back and tagged you in the one I used! I posted several but found this one to be the simplest. If you make one you have to post a picture! Love ya!
